291 Fancy Aperture Step Card
Photographs from the Community
I resized the card to make it larger, hence the different shape of the centre. The roses were printed onto a lightweight card and cut out by the cutting machine. The card was cut out of a 250g card and then assembled.
I used a light maroon card as a backing sheet, added gems to the side panel and then added a butterfly with gems down the body.
I cut out in pink and cream pearl and made 2 cards in contrasting colours. I did not use the print and cut as I have not done this before and it is something I am not interested in.
I just wanted to use this lovely card blank in my own way. I added the flowers from cutting file cup412513_425 gift box and added card candy to the centre. I also used the border from the same file. I embossed the insert using a Spellbinders embossing folder.
I cut out an extra insert to add to the back and I also added the cut out aperture to the back to act as a writing panel.
I added a spellbinders die-cut butterfly and some tiny punched flowers to finish off. This is a lovely card blank with plenty of options if you want to do your own thing
I printed the .pdf of the flower layers onto 250gsm Super Smooth white cardstock and cut them out. I took the .svg file into the Brother online "Canvas" application and downloaded it for putting on an USB flash drive which I then put in my ScanNCut.
I cut the card out of Buttermilk coloured 270gsm Basal cardstock. I then folded at the score lines and attached the flower inside using 3mm deep, double sided, foam tape. I finished off by embelishing with some sticky back faux pearl.
