As you go off across the seas,
An adventure waits for you,

I'm going on my holiday

I couldn't decide which outfits

So I've packed up every bloomin' thing

And see such wonderful scenes

The first step is the travelling
It will hold excitement too

I paid a visit to London
But didn't see the Queen
Though there were lots of places
I had never seen

I saw the Palace and Big Ben
And Tower of London too
And from the bridge over the Thames
The skyline was a wonderful view

I am so excited
I'm going on a plane
I am off to sunny climes
Where I hope it doesn't rain

They say the rain stays on the plain
And there it's got to stay
Because I want to get a Spanish tan
Laying in the sun all say
Wish you were coming with me

Very soon you'll be travelling
Far across the sea

I'm going there by train
I've packed my mac and brolly

Instead of going by train
But I think it's just too far
And the traffic is a pain
