I thank you Lord for my special friend,
Who is always there for me from beginning to end,
Who shares with me the days that are tough,
Who makes me laugh when things are rough,
Sharing the joys when life is good,
Standing by me as good friends should,
I feel so privileged that I've been given,
A precious angel direct from Heaven!

Many people come and go,
Throughout our busy days,
Occasionally leaving an imprint,
By what they do or say,
Sometimes friends stick by us,
They ask nothing in return,
They just support us daily,
Our appreciation they do earn,
And you my friend have helped me,
