Sympathy

On the wings of an Angel, flying high,
Friends and family by my side,
Please believe I am not gone,
I know you'll remember me in a song,
You'll see the signs when I am around,
A feather laying on the ground,
A butterfly, fluttering by,
Yes I know I will catch your eye.
So please remember when you cry,
I never left, I am always by your side.

The feeling that you have deep in your heart,
That washes your face with grief,
Will seem like it might go on forever,
Stealing your joy like a thief,
But rest assured that time will pass,
The sadness will ease and lift,
Your loved one, though gone,
Will be close by your side,
Always loved, but forever missed.

Another Birthday, another Christmas,
the list goes on and on.
It leaves a gaping hole
when someone so special has gone,
(His/her) smile, (his/her) unique way,
how you could talk to (him/her) every day.
but although you can't touch (him/her)
(he's/she's) really still here
and the sense of lessens as year follows year.
Remember the good times
(you'll miss him/her it's true)
but your heart should be full knowing
(he/she) really loved you.

I'll hold you close within my heart,
I'll never let you go,
You will always be the breath I breathe,
I will never be alone,
Together we'll still walk hand in hand,
Across both time and space,
You'll be forever in my memory,
I will always see your face,
So although you won't come through the door,
Or sit down to sup with me,
We'll still spend time together,
Now and through eternity.

There is a beautiful place called Heaven,
where the skies are a perfect blue
and the love that is sent from the angels
just warms you through and through
And there in the meadow you will find him (her)
with wild flowers by his (her) side
sat amongst people who went before him (her)
who came to meet him (her) when he (she) died
His (her) heart is tinged with sadness
for he (she) knew you wanted him (her) to stay
but the angels came down to meet him (her)
and took your loved one away.

He will always walk beside you,
In the moments when you feel low,
Given time you'll think of your memories,
And bask within their glow,
You'll smile and bring to mind,
Occasions that meant so much,
The way he loved you dearly,
His warm and tender touch,
Be thankful for the years you shared,
The recollections locked in your heart,
Life will go on without him - yes -
But he will still always play a part.

Your baby girl was gone too soon,
Not long was she allowed to stay,
God wanted her beauty back up in heaven,
No matter how hard you prayed,
Your arms are empty, your tears will flow,
You will always ask the question why,
You will never find the answer,
No matter how long you try,
But as much as God wanted her back,
He will give you the strength to go on,
Your little Angel will always stay in heart,
For that is where she belongs.

Another star shines way up high,
Your loved one there you'll see,
When on a dark and moonlit sky,
That's where he'll always be,
For loved ones who have gone before,
Never really leave you'll find,
Just look up above and see the stars,
That's where they all abide.

I am in the leaves that rustle,
I am the cool breeze on your face,
I am always there to embrace you,
You might feel it at any time or place,
I am there to guide your foot fall,
To make you laugh when you are sad,
Be happy that I was part of your life,
Now carry on, enjoy life and be glad.

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on the ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you awake in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of singing birds on circled flight

Why so much pain..
As the memories remain.
The grief is so hard to bear
For our loved one so dear.
With each passing thought,
The tears do fall
Oh how i recall...
Those memories so sweet,
And a smile that would greet..
Rest well my love,
As you watch over me from heaven above !!

Take some time in the silence,
If you're feeling low,
To think upon their memories,
To bask within their glow,
I know it isn't easy,
To let a loved one go,
Your heart will continue grieving,
Because you loved them so,
But eventually it will get better,
I promise this for you,
And may the joy of being reunited one day,
Always help you through.

Although your loved one has been taken,
And you are sad beyond belief,
May their memories remain with you,
And comfort you in your grief,
May the joy that you shared with them,
Make recollections that will last,
And you'll think of them with fondness,
As you'll never forget the past.

Life seems hard to cope with
when a loved one has to part
Treasure your cherished memories
and keep them in your heart
Although we know at a time like this
comfort is very hard to find
Think daily of those memories
and they'll bring you peace of mind

With Deepest Sympathy

I'm sorry to hear about your loss,
A very sad time for sure,
But I know the memory of your friend,
In your heart will always endure,
May you always think back with fond memories,
Of shared times and years gone by,
And remember her with laughter,
Not with a tear drop in your eye.

We had our wonderful life together
We even had our bad weather
We battled through the other side
You were my love and my pride

Now that your body has sadly gone
Your spirit remains and continues on

One day we will be together again

It never should have happened,
He never should have gone,
To lose a loved quite as young,
Is not what in nature is done,
For he still had many years to live,
Why did he have to go?
You loved him with every part of you,
Your heart is grieving so,
But be thankful that you had him,
Albeit for not very long,
He is part of your life forever,
His memory will always be strong,
So talk to him often and listen,
For you'll find him everywhere,
He'll only be a step behind you,
Turn around and you'll find him there.

When you lose someone very dear,
You know your world has gone,
And yes a little part of you feels it can't go on,
These days of grief and sadness,
Are very hard to bear,
But don't keep feelings locked inside,
Talk to friends who care,
For friends are here to help,
To guide you through difficult days,
Then one day soon you sure will find,
The sun will shine again.

I talked to you awhile yesterday,
I even called you by your name,
My heart is oh so heavy,
I know things will never be the same,
But yet it helps that I can tell you
About the the day to day small things,
It soothes my soul a little,
With the crumb of comfort that it brings,
It's early days I know,
Since you left and went away,
But part of me went with you,
Yet part of you has stayed.

May God watch over you at this sad time
And comfort you in your sorrow
Our thoughts are always with you
On every new tomorrow

It seems they left so sudden
but our path is long time made
for it's said that the angels
prepare a gentle glade.
Somewhere that they can lay their head
amongst those pastures new
and always be close to hand
to watch and care over you.

Our thoughts are with you, and our words cannot express,
How much you must be feeling in this time of distress.
Such a short time together, as it seems when passing,
But looking back with time, and always remembering.
It will seem a lifetime of togetherness, happiness, love and sharing.
It is so hard to let go when you are left behind,
And you will keep picking up memories to sit and rewind.
Photo albums and family gatherings all keep the memories alive,
This helps so much as you struggle to sleep and revive,
From the sadness and loss that is currently so acute
Please remember your friends are also very astute.
As they have grown older with you, and their familiies also grown
To form the extended family that has formed a link of your own.
