Mary, Joseph, meek and mild
Parents of this newborn child
Born inside a stable bare
' Neath the cattle's curious stare
Kings and wise men, in their hands
Gifts for Him, from far-off lands
Baby Jesus in that stall
Was the greatest gift of all
A gift to us, from God above
To show us His eternal love.

It's a Christmas Card
and a Birthday Card, too
Because, sweet Jesus
It celebrates You
A long time ago
A child was born
and the world rejoiced
on Christmas morn
So let us remember
Give thanks when we pray
That a baby was born
On Christmas Day

A heavenly king
From humble beginnings
A stable so bare
He now reigns in Heaven
And sends us His care

In a stable far away
A child was born on Christmas Day
To that manger cold and bare
Wise men brought him gifts so rare
Shepherds stood and watched in awe
Wond'ring what the fuss was for
The angels then began to sing
This babe is Christ, the Heavenly King!

The Angel Gabriel has appeared to guide them on there way
where Jesus will be born

The three wise men followed the star
with gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh,
the Angel Gabriel came to say
Christ is born on Christmas Day
so in a stable he did lay
to celebrate this special day

The Carols sung lound and clear,
Remind us all of everything that we hold very dear,
Our friends and family play a part as we celebrate with joy,
The time we are reminded of the birth of a baby boy,
The Shepherds came and the Wise Men too to a stable far away,
And gazed in awe and wonder at the Christ Child born that day,
So in the midst of this season with snow falling on the ground,
May the message that is Christmas in our hearts always be found.
