Blue Rose Toppers with Verses

Printed onto 250gsm white card, then cut out the toppers. Left card: chose a mid blue card, edged a piece of white card with blue distress ink then matted it onto the card base using d/s tape.

I then used 2mm foam pads to add 1 rose topper & verse side by side onto the white card, glued 2 strips of white pearls down the centre and a piece of white satin ribbon across the bottom of the blue card.

Right card: Chose a pink card, then cut 2 pieces of a darker pink slightly larger than the toppers, and attached them to the base card top left and bottom right, overlapping slightly at the centre.

Then attached the rose topper to the top left using 2mm foam pads and the verse to the bottom right also with the foam pads.

I then ran strips of small pearls around the edges of the rectangles of card, added a stamped sentiment in the top right and 2 small paper flowers in the bottom left rectangle adding a pearl to the centre of each flower.

Very quick and easy cards to make and with a little imagination can look very effective.

Printed out onto white card and cut out my two chosen images. I placed the images onto a white 6 x 6 deckle edged card using foam pads and placed some silver peeloffs into the two corners.

There is a matching insert to this card (cup474930_173) which I trimmed and placed inside.
