Blue Butterfly Topper
A step by step card front with rose and butterfly decoupage

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
I added a blob of silicone glue under one wing of each butterfly to give more definition. I added a flat backed pearl to the four corners to complete this gorgeous card.
I printed the file onto 160gsm paper, cut out the parts and attached the base image to a scalloped white 8x8 card with DST.
I used DST,1mm and 2mm foam pads to give height to the butterflies, and decoupaged the rose with 1mm and 2mm foam.
I added white lace stickles to the buds, glossy accents to the corner gems and flower centres and used cristal stickles on the butterflies' wing tips.
I added a grape coloured narrow satin ribbon round the spine, tied it in a bow and embellished with a length of white lace ribbon.
A beautiful design that is easy to craft and it looks gorgeous made up. I love the colours !
