This stitching pattern is SOOO versatile. I have stitched 6 different examples with this one pattern, and I'm sure you can come up with even more.

I stitched the outer star with silver metallic thread, the inner circle with a multi coloured metallic. Mounted it in a matt silver circle and added peel offs coloured with a matching pen.
