Rose Stitching Pattern in 3 Sizes
This pattern is based on a photo I snapped of a gorgeous rose. You can stitch it in three different sizes, or perhaps you can resize it yet again to suit your own needs/card/project.
It is great for all occasions and can be stitched in any colorway you prefer.
Have fun!

I printed the design onto matte card and cut out the different sizes, so that I could position the one I wanted to use easily.
I cut a rectangle of black card to fit a gold DL card and adhered a torn piece of a musical score, stippled with sepia ink, to it.
I pricked the pattern over the top of this and stitched it according to the instructions; the leaves in dusty green and the rose in gold.
I layered it onto the gold base card and used gold peel-offs for the corners and border.
I completed it with the sentiment plaque and a faux gem. This pattern would have almost unlimited uses; depending on what colour embroidery cotton and backing paper and card used, it could look totally different each time.
