Butterfly Stitchery Scallop Edge Card Front
This is an A5 sized card front with a lovely scallop edge. A stitching pattern of a butterfly and flower are included on an oval topper. The stitches needed are simple chain, straight, cross and french knot stitch, and are shown as stitch symbols.
Just choose your own colours to your own taste. This is so simple it would suit even the beginner stitcher. Once completed just attach to the card front with foam pads to add depth and dimension to your card. Some decoupage and greetings banners are also included.

I printed this on textured card and cut out the elements. I embroidered the butterfly using metallic and glitter thread in red for the outline and silver for the other parts.
I used two different shades of pink for the flower.
I added the ribbon and bow to the edge and then some stick on crystal flowers. I then attached the card to a textured card base. A really beautiful card.
I printed off this design and stitched with a metallic glitter thread where indicated on the design. I then mounted the stitched circle of design onto my front flap with silicone.
I covered my base card with a pearled sheen embossed card, and added my flap to the card using double sided tape.
I added a ribbon along the spine, some diamentes and rub off greetings to complete this pretty card.
