Stokesay Castle Shropshire England Decoupage Card Sheet
This is how Stokesay Castle in Shropshire, England looked in 1815. This beautiful old ruined building is much loved and a firm favourite with visitors. It is my own favourite as well and I have hand coloured this old print and decoupaged it for you to make cards with.
Look out for more of my castles and stately homes, they make lovely cards for anyone with a local connection to the different places.

I printed the sheet onto Super Smooth white card and cut out all the pieces. I prepared a base card by scoreing an A4 Ivory Centura Pearl card and folding in half to make a tent fold A5 card. Onto this base card I stuc a piece of gold mirror card that was around 1cm smaller than the card face in both directions and which had been punched with a corner punch.
The base image was then stuck to the gold mat on the card and the layers were built up in order, sticking each in place with glue gel.
A lovely image that makes a card suitable for both men and women for many occasions.
