Oriental 2 Is a beautiful Japanese lady & parasol in a floral frame.
This delicate salmon pink sheet from Astrid was a delight to work with. I made a card in C.B's Matte photo paper using the full width and 17.5cm height. I used a backing sheet of salmon pink shades from my stash 14.5 x 16 .5. I then, used the same salmon pink to cut 1cm wide strips & using D.s tape attached these to a Japanese print that had a black background.(size 13.5 x15.5cm) four of the 1cm strips of the salmon pink paper 1cm apart vertically down the Japanese print I left a 3cm space & then attached a 2cm strip which I covered with a paler salmon pink satin ribbon 1.5 cm wide. then attached the same ribbon across 5.5cm up from the bottom of the print. Over this ribbon I attached 2 layers of paper 1st a strip of the print cut at 1.2cm wide and a salmon pink strip 0.90 cm.wide. I used D's tape to secure this part of the backing sheet to the larger backing sheet on the card front & finished the backing sheet with some sequins using a larger one where the ribbons joined
I then printed the lovely Japanese theme on to crafty Bob's matte photo paper. I used a piece of silver mirror paper to cut a pattern from the main topper and backed this with some white card using D.s tape. To this I then attached the main topper. I cut out all the elements and step by step using tiny thin d's foam squares made up the lady. and then the flowers. I used the same foam dots to attach the finished topper to the card placing her feet at the bottom edge of the darker printed sheet. I used a tooth pick and PVA glue to attach the rhinestones to the flower centres and the Kimino . It was a beautiful inspiring sheet to work with. Thank you Astrid
