Rose & Butterflies - Side Satin Draped Decoupage Card
A panel featuring vintage roses, set in a salmon pink draped background decorated with butterflies.
Each of my Side Satin Draped Decoupage Cards has a panel featuring different contents, all decorated with flowers, butterflies etc to match or complement the panel. Then there are three decoupage layers for the panel plus a satin drape layer, and a choice of four sentiment plates plus a blank for your own message. Card base is 15.5 cm (approx. 6 inches) square printed on an A4 sheet, or 11cm (approx. 4.25 inches) of printed half size. Tutorial available.
Hi everyone! Hereâ??s a set of cards with a pretty panel set in a side satin draped background. Each has a panel featuring different contents, all decorated with flowers, butterflies etc to match or complement the panel.
Then there are three decoupage layers for the panel plus a satin drape layer, and a choice of four sentiment plates plus a blank for your own message. To make your card: 1) print onto your favourite good quality card or photo paper 2) cut out the card front and all of the elements 3) attach the card front to your card base with double sided tape or your favourite dry glue 4) add the largest panel decoupage layer using foam pads or silicone glue, carefully lining up over the matching part of the card front image 5) add the other layers in the same way 6) add a sentiment of your choice â?? why not use others on the card interior 7) optionally add extra bling, peel-offs, bows, ribbons, butterflies etc I hope you like these designs and have fun with them! Printed onto glossy photo paper. Matted base image onto peach coloured craft paper. Attached to 8x8 card stock using ds tape. Edged image with gold peel offs and edged matting with corners and borders. Built up image with 1mm foam pads.
