This is an A5 sized card front with a lovely scallop edge, and features beautiful Origami styled flowers on a heart shaped shield, a stunning butterfly and pearl embellishments. Designed with leap year birthdays in mind, one of the two pretty matching sentiment panels is worded for this occasion, anf one for a general birthday. Card Gallery - Origami Flowers Leap Day Scallop Card in Pink and Decoupage
I printed this onto Crafty Bob's AMAZING photo paper, cut out and layered the images using 3d foam pads. I glued just the butterfly body so that I could raise the wings to look as though it was in flight. I added peel off detail and matted onto a white card, adding foam pads to raise the scallops - a fantastic idea for leap year as a friend of mine actually does have a birthday on the 29th Feb!! Just makes it that little more special!
