1950's Lady Catching Butterflies Decoupage
A pretty lady in a 1950's style dress, with a flared skirt & petticoats with matching sun hat & gloves, reaching out to a butterfly.
Card front & easy to cut out decoupage layers to make a very special card.
The layers will make the skirt really stand out & you could add a bit of lace or broderie anglaise to make it even more luxurious!

Printed onto 190gsm matte photo card then mounted onto an aqua card blank using DST. I curved the decoupage pieces to give dimension then attached using silicone glue. I added a peel off greeting & finished with pearls.
I printed the design on good quality matte photo paper and attached the base to a white card. I decoupaged the elements with silicone glue, added some light and dark gems to finish this beautiful design. Love the decoupage, it's brilliant.
This was printed on 120gsm card and attached to an 8x8 inch scalloped edge card. Digital ribbon from cup47532_123 Roses and Pearls digital ribbons designed by Robyn Cockburn was added to the left. Decoupage was attached with foam pads. A really lovely card.
Used A4 portrait.
Backed the card with backing paper made from the dress on the picture, cut all the pieces out and decoupaged them using silicone. put stick on gem on the side of the panel of the flowers. then typed a sentiment out backed with silver card and stuck on with sticky pads.
