With this design I first printed it out onto photo paper, then after cutting out all the elements I placed the design base onto the front of a white C5 card, I then added a red and gold glittery border all round the outside edges of the design, to finish my card I made up the design using 2mm sticky pads, this is a beautiful design, very colourful, was very easy to cut and make up and is stunning once done
This is a beautiful vision of the double fuschia I used to grow in Victoria. The background seems alive as well, so I printed it out on good Quality Matt Crafty Bob Card.. I tried several shades of blues and greens for the card to do the sewing before I decided to match the green to the edge. I hand drew a squiggle & pricked the card on the back of the green card ( size 8.5cm x15.5). I used a metallic multi coloured thread for the embroidery to pick out all the stunning colours on the topper. The cream card is a textured linen finish -Front 12.75 cm X17cm. The back 17cm x 17cm. The fold back is scored and then folded in to the inside 4cm Wide.
I used double sided foam dots to make up the decoupage, added a Blue 1cm wide ribbon to the left edged embroidered card at 7.5Cm . I mounted the 3 layers of colors with a tiny overlap -the finish being a total of 0.5 cm. 1. pale green,2.darker Green 3. patterned backing paper from my stash.. The front is finished with a blue bow to highlight the butterflies and sentiment. I then printed on good quality copy paper at 30% the flowers and matted them to pale green textured card 3.75Cm x16.5 (Attached with double sided Tape to the front of the fold back )& used wet glue to attach the flowers & 2 Butterflies
An easy Card with a stunning result. I will make many more of these in different styles.
