A simple card front with decoupage pieces to layer up. Great card for children.

Karen Adair has offered this very cute and traditional Christmas image for purchase, and I have used the blue and the snow as a continuation of the same theme.
I mounted the main image onto a white backing sheet and then onto a royal blue backing sheet, using D.S. tape before attaching this group, now using padded D.S. tape onto a pearl white corrugated card which I had edged with a silver metallic pen.
I wrapped a darker blue satin ribbon across the front and around to the back to secure it and then cut a piece of snowflake embossed acetate to cover this topper using magic vellum tape to secure it across the centre section of the ribbon area.
I then cut out the smaller elements and attached them using Clear multi glue gel. I then made a card using a royal blue snowflake print backing sheet to copy onto both sides of 120gsm white card, then cut it at 15.5 x 23cm and scored and folded it before attaching the completed topper using D.S. tape.
I used some silver glitter glue to embellish Santa's beard ,hat pompom, cuffs and boot cuffs and some extra sparkle gently across the smaller elements.
I attached the bow using the same ribbon and used a red peel off sentiment. I am delighted with the lovely card I have made, and will be bale to use the design many times.
