Beautiful Butterflies - Shaped Topper, Insert & Decoupage
This is everything you need on one sheet to make a complete card - there's a shaped topper for an A5 card blank, a shaped insert and decoupage layers.
Cut out all the elements. The insert has a poem however, if you'd prefer no poem, cut out an aperture inside the oval and mat directly in to your card.
Cut out the base image and roughly remove the aperture centre before matting to your card front. cut around the shape of the design and cut out the aperture neatly so that the card inner is revealed. Line up your card insert so that the poem peeps through the aperture on the card front. Add decoupage layers and embelish as required.
A complete card on one sheet.
Hi All, This is the tutorial for my single sheet designs that have a topper, insert and decoupage layers for an A5 shaped card.
You need a card blank to work with these sheets.
I hope you like them and thank you for looking. The first 3 sheets demo how to make your card using the elements on the sheet - I've shown 2 samples to cover the different shaped apertures. The last 2 sheets show something a little different that can be done using 2 printed sheets of the same design.

Printed onto 190gsm matte photo card. Mounted the front section onto a white card blank then removed the aperture. Added the insert being carful to align with the front then trimmed around the front edges to the same shape as the topper.
Assembled the decoupage using 2mm foam pads.
Added pale blue pearls to the butterflies & finished with a lilac polka dot ribbon & bow.
