Snowy Lake Scene
An A5 card front featuring a snowy lake scene on a snowflake design background. There are 5 star shaped layers increasing in size to layer up in a half spiral across the front of the scene.

I printed out twice to decoupage the centre panel and mounted onto an A5 cream deckle card with a die-cut star corner.
I added each star using sticky pads starting from the largest star first and using thicker sticky pads on the last 2 smallest stars.
This gives a lovely and very unusual effect that makes a card with a difference. I finished off with a fine gold elasticated bow to the spine
This is a card with a difference - I love the fact that the layers are star shaped! I printed the design on matte photo paper and cut out all the pieces.
I actually made the design twice - the first time I cut the stars out so that there was no border (as in the product image) but thought that the stars were lost in the design so the second time I cut the stars adding the border with which they are printed.
I added 1mm foam squares to all the stars then, starting from the left, layered them while matching the base design.
This is the photo that I have included. A quick but striking card.
