Brigit Fairy Flip Card Sheet

I printed the sheet onto super smooth white card and cut out the elements. I took two cocktail sticks and just nipped the sharp point, around 1mm, off one end of each and cut around half an inch of the other end of each.
I pushed a pale blue seed bead onto the end that was just nipped, tapping the bead onto the table with the stick to force it on tight.
I then colourd both cocktail sticks and beads with a blue metalic marker. I used the same metalic marker to go round all the cut edges of the card both on the base and on both ovals.
I worked out the central axis of the ovals and ran a tape runner pen along this on the back pannel and then laid the cocktail sticks, blunt end to blunt end, along the sticky.
I then covered the rest of the back pannel in glue gel and stuck the front to it. The glue gel allowed for some slip to get the pannels exactly lined up.
After allowing some time for the glue gel to set I put two pieces of 2mm deep foam tape inside the base on the back, allowing some 1.5mm space between the foam and the crease on either side for the cocktail sticks to sit in.
I laid the pannel with cocktail sticks in this space before removing the back of the foam tape and folding over the rest of the base.
I stuck the two pieces that prevent the base opening too far into place.
