An A5 card front showing a wordsearch puzzle containing the names of twelve farm animals. The aim is to find all of the hidden words in the grid.

Wordsearch cards are simple to make, and create something really different that children will love to complete. Give more than just a card ? give them some fun!

Wordsearch cards would make great activities for your children or grandchildren in the holidays, or for teachers to give to their pupils. They could be used to keep children entertained on long car, train or plane journeys, as well as for activity purposes in Brownie/Scout/Cub/After-School clubs. If you are a nanny or babysitter, you could purchase this sheet once and print a copy for each of the children you take care of to keep them busy for a while.

A coordinating A5 insert for this sheet is available in my other items, as is an A4 version of the wordsearch.

Printed out onto white card and cut out all the pieces. I placed the base picture onto the main card using d/s tape. I then added some of the remaining pieces to match the front using foam pads. I then placed a sheet of blank white paper inside and attached "Did You Find Them All?" and "Need Help? Turn Over" onto the insert using d/s tape. I then attached the solution on the back of the card using d/s tape to finish. Quite a novel card for that Wordsearch fanatic.
