Baroque Valentine
Venetian inspired baroque design for Valentine's Day
Photographs from the Community
A Stunning card for male or female Valentine's Day,as the bright boldness of the red shades & the Baroque theme lend to both.
Simple, and as quick and as easy as you choose to make.
I printed it out on C.B's matte photographic paper at 12.5cm square. I attached the bustier with D.S foam tape and using red shiny beads and home made paper beads made from red black& white made a string 12 cm long and stitched it in place, top and bottom and then a couple of times down the length, to hold it firm. I then used D.S Tape to back it firstly to a green to match the inside of the bustier and then a red then onto a white card 15x15cm square. The lace is a see through peel off strip. I angle cut the corners for neatness. I attached a pearl to each corner of the card, A tiny organza ribbon to make a bow and added a pearl to the front of the bow. For the insert I used an aged looking paper from my Stash and wrote in "Be my valentine" in a Gold Ink pen.
I am so thrilled with the actual Baroque look. A copy of some Burlesque or Baroque
sheet music on aged paper would create an even better look. Maybe the next time. How easy and how Beautifu Pamela Horton Wellington Point Qld
