This is very different, has an extremely versatile usage & certainly makes a statement. So easy to simply cut out in good quality card, cut out the elements and complete the decoupage. use D.S tape to attach to a card , of your own colour choice and that's it finished.
I did do this and then I also made another by cutting out 2 toppers & decoupaged the finished by cutting out the larger octangle and using D.S foam tape to attach it to the 1st Full topper. And as I liked the effect , my finished photo shows my 3rd completed card. made step by step decoupage. his involved making 5 copies of the main topper. I marked on the back the top point and was very careful cutting, so that the deep pink edge trim was still complete on the outer edge of each section. I used D.S foam tape to attached each layer, and finally the daisy.
I made some paper beads from a 2013 calender print of the same flowers and used the focal centre point of each large octangle shape to thread single beads to the the top 3 spots , and 3 beads each for the rest. I made a backing sheet 3mm wider than the topper, in deep pink foil and made a dull dark green card to match the daisy background, cutting it in the same shape again 3mm wider than the pink foil. I also cut a pink foil strip for the sentiment backing.. This took a little longer, But look at the result. Now I have 3 of this beautiful design to use and I am not done yet. I want to try reducing the size for cost saving on postage.
I hope you like it. Thank you for something so completely different. Pamela Horton Wellington Point Qld
