Bridges B Oil Painting Effect Two 7x5 Cards
These card fronts are an easy to make project. Print and cut out. The whole image can then be attached to mirror card and attached to the front of a 7x5 card.

I have made 2 cards today using the sheet supplied depicting photographs of bridges, by Tom Curtis. For each card I have used 3 copies of the sheet, and used backing sheets to complement the colours in each of the photographs.
The first copy for each card, I have used the main image as the main backing sheet and the next 2 copies I cut out various sections of the image to use as decoupage to complete the topper.
The Image of the bridge showing the morning sky and view under the bridge, I have used 3 extra backing sheets and defined the edges of each one using a gold metallic pen.
The largest is an orange cut at 12.25 x 9.75cm, the marble finished ivory card is cut at 11.25 x 8.25cm and the white is cut at 10.25 x 7.25cm.
The main image is attached with D.S. tape, the white is attached using padded D.S. tape and the orange is attached to the main linen finished black card with padded D.S. tape.
The black card front measures 14 x 10.5cm and has a margin of the gold metallic pen, which is enhanced using a glitter glue pen.
To make the first layer of the decoupage I cut out, to use, the whole of the bridge and omitted the sky and the grass.
The top layer is the tunnel image including part of the stones.
I used tiny padded D.S. squares to attach the smaller images I have cut from the main image, using the step by step method to attach them.
In making the card showing the stone work path over a bridge amongst an autumn background, I began with same size main image, and marble background sheet, but used a slightly narrower and slightly taller red backing sheet, so that the deep yellow backing sheet now measures 13 x 9.5cm.
All of the backing sheets have the edges defined using a bronze metallic pen. I have used padded D.S. tape to attach the marble finished ivory coloured backing sheet to the red backing sheet.
The main black card front is folded to measure 15.5 x 10.5cm, and I have used a white fine line peel off to define the main completed topper.
To give the effect of depth I have cut out from the 2 extra images 2 different sized but same shaped ovals and attached them as the decoupage using padded D.S. squares.
I attached a sentiment onto a red backing sheet to complete the card front. These 2 photographs have made 2 stunning cards with very versatile usage. Thank you for offering them for purchase. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus
