Farm House A5 Card with Decoupage
An A5 card front with oval pyramage layers showing a watercolour painting of a farmhouse with two sheep grazing in their fields outside.
The painting is mounted in a green lace frame on top of a green background with a painting of flowers and fields just showing through.

Printed on to HQ glossy paper.Using a sharp crafting knife I carefully cut out each piece then built up the layers starting with the largest down to the smallest- adhering with 3d foam between each layer.
I then chose a dark green HQ card as the base for the card and positioned the finished design on to the backing card before placing the "Happy Birthday"tag in position, again, using a piece of 3d foam.
Double sided sticky tape was used to stick the design upon the base card. I ran a narrow red ribbon down the left front of the card and tied in a bow.
This card has been made for a gentleman friend for his birthday so I felt nothing more was needed. However if I was making this design up for a female friend I would have placed the finished design on to a pretty lace edged border in a complimentary shade.
