Out of the Frame
a great male card with a real 3d effect

I printed the sheet on quality cardstock and cut out all the elements. I used foam pads to decoupage and double sided tape for the rest of the card construction.
I reduced the size of the macaw in cup421534_376 and added it to the top left corner of the card front.
The card front was then matted with deep yellow cardstock and attached to a blank white card.
The depth of the background picture and the positioning of the tiger truly give the illusion that the tiger is resting on the edge of the frame like a cat on a window sill.
This is a very clever, effective technique!
Printed this fabulous design onto 200gsm glossy photo card and easily cut out all elements. Covered front of 8"x 8" card with green holographic card and attached main image to it. Decoupaged using 1mm sticky pads. Finished with greeting also backed with green holographic card.
Just love this card, suitable for so many occasions and very easily made.
I printed the design on to good quality white card and cut out all the elements. Something I always try to remember to do, especially on these very regal cards is that I ink the cut edges of the decoupage pieces.
This eliminated the glaring white look around the design.
I assembled this beautiful creature using double sided spongy tape and added a little gold peel off edging to signify royalty.
