I printed the pattern twice onto 160g card. I find this the best for decoupaging.
I then cut the entire cow out from the pattern sheet and then all the extra pieces. I also cut from the second sheet extra flowers and butterfly to give added extra 3D effect.
I used blue coloured card that was cut to 14cm x 28cm then folded in half to make a square. I used some green fibre paper to make a bigger grass area on the bottom of the card, then added all the decoupaged pieces. I careful cut the sentiment out from the main picture, mounted in dark blue card before attaching to the top of the card so that is over-hangs the edge by 5mm. I then added the cut out butterfly. I bent the wings just slightly to give a more textured look.
Such a cute sheet and with restructures happening at work and people leaving for other places, this was a quirky little sheet that will serve both purposes. So I printed out the sheet, cut out the elements and mounted them with foam tape. To add a little bling, I used Stickles Diamond on the petals of the flowers, the inner ears and the moo's nostrils. Then choose to use coloured card stock to differentiate and suit the personalities of the recipients. Just a real little versatile sheet, that will definitely come in handy for my collection.
