I printed the sheet onto Super Smooth decoupage card and cut out all the pieces, marking the number behind each piece as I went. I took a piece of ivory irridescent card and made a 14cm square card from it. I took some backing paper from my crafty stash that had a fine line in the same pink as in the card and cut this to 13.5cm square. I rounded the corners with a round punch before sticking this to the base card leaving a border all the way around. I stuck the base image directly to this backing. I then built up each layer in order sticking each in place using 1mm deep, double sided, foam tape.
The way the square layers are built up to make the star pyramid gives a great effect on this card.
I printed the sheet. Because I used regular printer paper, I used Aslan and another printer sheet to make the structure stronger. After taping the layers together I cut the pyramage layers apart.
I had also printed two Gorgeous romantic orchid toppers from 8x8 floral inserts and gift tag toppers bumper kit set 1.
I cut the toppers apart, and then cut them into halves diagonally. I taped two opposite corners together to get a pretty frame for my 3D-pyramid. I attached the frame on a shock pink cardboard. Then I attached it to white base card.
Now I started to build up the pyramage with sticky fixers. When I was ready, I attached the structure in the middle of the frame. As a finishing touch I added some faux gems into the corners of the frame.
