I printed the sheet onto glossy, lightweight, photo paper and cut the layers out. As I'd been asked for a card with a poppy on that would go through ordinary post I realized that, although it would make a stunning card, building up all the layers supplied would make the card way too deep, so I decided to make two different cards from the sheet. I used a square, tent fold, card for both but put a wrap of a velum, printed with a flower in gold, on one card and corner red peeloffs on the other. I took the two largest layers and matted these onto gold card, one a mirrored gold and the other a matt gold embossed with a pattern, leaving a border of 1cm all the way around. These matted images were stuck to the cards. I then built up the pyramids, using alternate layers, and stuck them in place using 1mm deep double sided foam tape.
I decided to photograph them both side by side as I couldn't decide on one or the other and they'd both come from a single sheet. A lovely image.
