Just layer the stars up using foam pads or silicon glue.

I printed the design onto quality photo paper, cut it out and assembled the pyramid. I matted it onto a square red gloss card and used two types of gold peel-off stickers to form borders.
I love this vintage Santa, the star pyramid provides all the extra interest you need so that little embellishment is necessary.
