Gate Fold Pop Up Lilac Patchwork Girls Gardening
A pop up gatefold card suitable for a wide variety of occasions, female birthday, retirement, thank you, mother's day etc.
This is a different variation on the pop up cards I've seen before. It is very quick and simple to make.
For best results, print onto photo paper, then stick the gatefold image onto card at the point outlined in the instructions.
With a craft knife, cut along the 4 pop up tab lines. Score between the tags (not over the pop up tabs) and fold the 2 outer flaps inward to close the card.
At the same time, ease the 2 pop up tabs forward, so that they fold in the opposite direction to the card fronts.
Stick on card, cut out and fold closed again to get clean creases. Stick the side panels on the card fronts. Then simply attach the additional images and decoupage layers to the pop up tabs as shown in the photo on my first sheet in this series cup99475_68.

The pieces were cut out and the girl and flowerpot were decoupaged using silicone glue. The pop up slots were cut and then the card was folded up to get the fold lines for the slots.
The card was mounted on an A6 white card and the front pieces stuck on. The decoupaged pieces were stuck onto the slots using wet glue for strength.
