Gate Fold Pop Up Garden Gals
A pop up gatefold card suitable for a wide variety of occasions, featuring whimsical gardening girls. Lovely for birthday, thank you, retirement etc. This is a different variation on the pop up cards I've seen before. It is very quick and simple to make.
For best results, print onto photo paper, then stick the gatefold image onto card at the point outlined in the instructions below.
With a craft knife, cut along the 4 pop up tab lines. Score between the tags (not the pop up tab) and fold the 2 outer flaps inward to close the card.
At the same time, ease the 2 pop up tabs forward, so that they fold in the opposite direction to the card fronts.
Stick on card, cut out and fold closed again to get clean creases. Stick the front panels to the card front.
Then simply attach the additional images and decoupage layers to the pop up tabs as shown in the photo on my first listing in this series, cup99475_68 thank you teacher sheet.

The pieces were cut out and the girls were decoupaged using silicone glue. The pop up slots were cut and then the card was folded up to get the fold lines for the slots.
The card was mounted on an A6 white card and the front pieces stuck on.
The girls were stuck onto the slots using wet glue for strength.
