Gate Fold Pop Up Christmas Snowman Boy
A pop up gatefold card for a novelty christmas card. This is a different variation on the pop up cards I've seen before. It is very quick and simple to make.
For best results, print onto photo paper, then stick the gatefold image onto card at the point outlined in the instructions.
With a craft knife, cut along the 4 pop up tab lines. Score between the tags (not over the pop up tabs) and fold the 2 outer flaps inward to close the card.
At the same time, ease the 2 pop up tabs forward, so that they fold in the opposite direction to the card fronts.
Stick on card, cut out and fold closed again to get clean creases. Stick the side panels on the card fronts. Then simply attach the additional images and decoupage layers to the pop up tabs as shown in the photo on my first sheet in this series cup99475_68.
Simples! ;0) (Hopefully)

I printed onto matt card. Cut out the parts and scored and folded the main card. With the card flat I used a knife to cut the lines on the main card.
I made tabs for the boy and snowman, put the tabs through the cut lines folded over each end and attached the snowman and boy.
Added the decoupage pieces and carefully added the side pieces to the reverse of the card making sure not to put glue on the tab area.
The card stands up but will be posted unfolded.
