Ornare Paper Piercing Pattern a - Cu4cu
Ornare is so simple and effective! It is the art of using special patterns to embellish your card projects. Borders and corners pricked using Ornare templates add a beautiful accent to your regular card making.
The patterns can be used over and over again making them an economical purchase that is also suitable for Scrapbooking as well.
With just a needle tool, or a sewing needle and a foam pad underneath, you are ready to "Ornare".
Ornare is also used as accents on cards, as well as larger designs that are the central image, which makes it quick and easy to do using border templates or a suitable part of a larger image.
Enjoy your patterns; I can't wait to see what you create with them!

I printed the design onto white card and used it as my template to pierce the design onto a square kraft coloured card.
I used a mouse pad under it to allow free movement of the pricking tool. I wrote out 'Venezia' and pricked it in one corner.
In the opposite one I used some flourishes from part of the design. I cut away the inner part of the frame so that it could be used to showcase the image underneath.
Finally I added tiny faux gems here and there around the design to complete it. (The inner image is cup252504_923.) This lovely design would be useful in a lot of different applications.
The addition of seed beads would be a possibility along some of the lines or just a beautiful frame for a vintage bust perhaps.
