Ornare N9
Ornare patterns are used as borders on a card or on parchment paper. Ornare/Paper Piercing can be done on the front or the back of the paper, depending on the look you would like to create.
From the front, it will be smooth, from the back, you will have stand-up dimension. You can also enhance the pattern by coloring it using chalks or colored pencils.

I printed the design directly onto card and using a needle pierced through each of the dots of the design.
I like the texture to be felt from the front of the card as my friend is blind and can feel the design.
I then cut around the outer edge of the design. I attached it to a card onto which I stuck a pearlescent backing paper. I embellished the design by adding silver peel offs of flowers in a vase and wavy outlines.
