Trainspotter 3 - the Station
These train kits were requested by a card maker and family and look beautiful when completed.
Easy cuts and quick to make up this picture is a blast from the past - how romantic.
The kit comprises 3 sheets, the first holds the main card, various suitcase decoupage with enough to place on the opposite corner should you wish, plus a couple of smaller prints to use either on the insert, or the back of the card. The second sheet holds the frame, various tags including tags for the spare set of luggage, there is also a premade gift tag and a couple of blank tags.
The third sheets has a matching blank insert that finishes the card.

I printed the card parts on 200gsm matt paper and insert onto 160gsm paper, cut all parts out ad attached base image to an 8x8 cardblank covered with a toning brown lightweight card using DST.
I also added a gold decorative, track like border down the two side margins.
I attached the insert with DST adding a small image on the facing page. I attached the frame with 2mm foam tape and built up the cases decoupage both sides with foam tape,DST and glue gel for a lovely 3D effect, adding my choice of sentiments.
I embellished the station awning with tiny amber gems to represent party lights,I added diminute chocolate pearls for the case fastenings, added mini gold initials to one case, then attached old gold card candi to decorate the frame at the top.
A great design, and I love the old cream and brown tones. I shall add a personalised greeting to the station awning later. A very versatile card, just right for lots of occasions. There are plenty of names and greeting panels to decoupage!
The cutting out is very straightforward and the result is stunning. Thank you so much Lorraine.
