1950's Lady and the Lamp Mini Kit
A pretty lady in a 1950's style dress, with a flared skirt & petticoats and her hair in a beehive. She is surrounded by ornate lamps & flowers & has a bird at her feet.
This stunning mini kit makes an 8 inch square card & includes 2 sheets, one with the card front & 5 matching greeting tags The other has easy to cut out decoupage layers to make a very special card. The deep layers will make the skirt really stand out & you could add a bit of lace or broderie anglaise to make it even more luxurious!
The tag greetings are:
"Happy Birthday"
"Best Wishes"
"Special Daughter"
"With Love" and one left blank for your own greeting or name.
Tip: put sticky tape instead of foam pads at the waist of the skirt to keep it flat & make the bottom of the skirt flare out.

Printed onto 190gsm matte photo card then mounted onto cream card blank using DST. Assembled decoupage using silicone glue then finished with clear gems.
I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
I shaped the skirt of the dress with my fingers then added foam tape to the outside edges only. I did this for each layer. This makes the skirt look full. I added the greeting using thin foam tape.
