Box Side Aperture Card - Red Poppies
This is one of my new series of Box Side Aperture cards.
The cards have a 3D box on one side with a panel sandwiched in the centre. The panel has decoupaged rectangles on each side (front and back), which
stick out of the right hand side of the box.
On the bit which is sandwiched in between the front and back of the box you hang your "dangler".
The whole card folds flat for posting and measures approx. 6 inches by 4 inches when flattened.
The sides of the "box" are decorated so that there is something to look at whichever side you look from - front, back, left or right.
The background design is tartan. The main design is of red poppies with red and orange butterflies. The sides of the "box" are similar to the design on the right rectangular panel. On the back of that panel is a greeting saying With Love.
The dangler has the same design front and back.

Copied to glossy 260gsm photo paper and cut out all the elements. Followed Sheila's very precise instructions, cutting out apertures and applying glue, d.s.t. and foam pads where appropriate. I have added two bows and some little butterflies which I have coloured red.
A card with a difference, folds flat for postage and really effective. Suitable for many occasions.
I printed the sheets from this kit onto 200gsm photo paper and cut out all the pieces. I followed the instructions for assembly and the card was very quick and easy to make. I did cut the patterned elements from the rectangles to make it just that little bit different.
Another novel design from Sheila - don't know where she gets them from but they are great. If you have not tried one of these designs I urge you to do so - you will not be disappointed.
This one can be used for so many different people and occasions.
