'twas the Night Before Christmas
Probably like a lot of you reading this, as a child this was my favourite Christmas poem. It brings back to me all the magic and wonder of Christmas seen through the eyes of a child. This is what prompted this mini-kit.
The design is based on the first lines of poem on the pages of open book. The sleeping mouse and the stockings hung by an open fire are all there.
Sheet 1 has the main image and a backing sheet. Sheet 2 has first layer for card, pyramage layers, greeting plaque which says, 'May we never forget the wonder and magic of Christmas as seen through the eyes of a child.' Plus an extra embellishment brad. I have also included an ideas sheet for your interest.
The design colours are predominately gold, red and cream.
I hope you enjoy this mini-kit. Thank you for your interest.

I printed the design onto crafty Bob's matte photo paper and cut out all the elements...I matted and layered a card blank with red card then added the backing paper from the kit...I mounted the main image onto this and added the decoupage and pyramage using silicone gel...to finish the card I layered the insert from the kit onto red card and attached to the inside of the card with DST...and added a red bow to the front of the card...This is a beautiful Christmas design which I'm sure will bring back memories to all of us.
With this design I first printed it out onto photo paper, then after cutting out all the elements, I placed the backing paper onto the front of a white C5 card, then I made up the design, this I did using 2mm sticky pads finishing off with a red bow in the center of the page, this is a wonderful Christmas design which was very easy to cut and make up and is stunning one done
One of my favourite Christmas reminders. I learned this poem to recite to the children in my many classes when teaching. They loved it! I printed the design onto good quality white card and cut out all the elements and assembled the card using spongy tape and the how-to suggestions.
I mounted the topper onto a gold and then a deep red mat and finally, added a small red bow.
