Pop Up Slider Card Kit Swan 'dangler' Engagement/anniversary
Welcome to my new range of 3D card kits! I've called them Pop Up Slider Cards because that's exactly what they do. Just gently pull the tab at the bottom and it erects itself into a 3D 'peep-show' style multi-layered card. The kits contain everything you need and you can make the cards as simply or as detailed as you choose; just use the basic images or build up with as many layers as you like of the many decoupage elements offered. These cards are fun to make and you really feel that you have created something special when it's completed. Full instructions are included in every kit, but once you've made one you'll quickly see how it all works and just how simple it is.
This card is created for a loving couple on their engagement or anniversary, and is extra special as it features a dangling moon inside a hoop as one of the main elements. Additional instructions for this are given in the kit. There are alternative greetings tiles on sheet 3 including a blank, as this card would also be as suitable for a special birthday. Altogether this makes a truly beautiful keepsake for a number of occasions.

I thought this might have been a challenging design but in fact it is quite simple, the instructions are clear and it is really important to use a good strong quality card, I used 200gsm, I also made a smaller version (my sample for display) using 160 which also worked!
So print the instructions and have them handy to refer to. After cutting out all the elements I decouplaged them and left them to dry while continuing with the cutting and folding of the base card and slider.
I attached the dangling half moon with invisible thread and before adding the 'back' to the large hoop and placed a little double sided extra strong tape inside, laid the thread onto it and then put the back on using glue, let everything dry well before placing in situe as you will get a better result! for an extra bit of psazz, I used crystal glitter on the swans and dotted here and there. (unfortunately it has'nt shown up on the photo), already have two orders!!
