Santa's Train Over the Top Easel Card Kit
Waving Santa onboard his train packed with Christmas gifts will delight any recipient, young or old.
You can use this card as is or add the optional decoupage layers to the over the edge top panel and the stop panel. It comes with a co-ordinating envelope though it is also sized to fit a standard C5 (9x6.5 inch) envelope if you only want to make the card. Step by step instructions are included on each of the sheets.
This kit contains EIGHT sheets to choose from:
- a sheet with the easel base with a greetings panel which has been left blank for your own message or greeting
- an alternative easel base with greeting (Have yourself a wonderful Christmas)
- a sheet with the easel top panel and the first optional decoupage layer
- a sheet with the remaining optional decoupage layers for the top panel
- a sheet with the stop panel and the optional decoupage layers for the stop panel
- an envelope front sheet
- an envelope back sheet
- a matching backing paper that you can print onto the back of your chosen easel base sheet and the first top panel sheet if you want the back of your card to be patterned
All the sheets are 300dpi, high resolution sheets, for quality printing.

I printed out the sheets onto 220gsm good quality photo paper. I made a slightly different card to show it's versatility.
I matted the santa image onto gold matt card & used foam tape to mount it to the 8x8 base card i'd covered in a backing paper made from envelope paper.
I decoupaged the layers with 3D glue gel & used Star Dust Stickles to add some sparkle. I embellished with a greeting matted onto a scalloped circle & i added a feather under it & used 3D glue gel to mount it to the base card.
I used die cut snowflakes to embellish further.
This great kit was printed on to good quality smooth card, then cut, scored, folded and glued where needed, then assembled using pinflair glue.
The easel base and top panel sheets were printed onto 250gsm matt photo paper, with the backing paper printed onto the reverse side, while the remaining sheets were printed onto 128gsm matt photo paper.
The card and envelope were then made up as per the instructions included on the sheets.
No additional embellishments have been added.
