This is the 1st. miniature I have made using a ready-made design & found it delightfully easy to follow the excellent instructions. The pattern came with 3 choices for the rides - fully designed horses, blank horse shapes(for your own design) & reindeer blanks.I decided to go with the reindeers. The only alterations I made were to use kebab sticks instead of straws for the poles,& to embellish with Christmas decorations.
This was a joy to make & I'll certainly be making more.
Printed templates from provided PDF onto good quality plain paper, added score lines. I spent some time deciding on my colour scheme - matched my recipient's Christmas decs and used pics of her granddaughter on the decals.
Used temporary spray on glue to cut out all parts.
Assembled using the very clear instructions that were provided.
It is worth taking your time - this all fitted together nicely. It's a striking piece of card art! You choose how much or how little decoration to do
The pages for the octagonal box were also easy to print and asssemble. I left this fairly plain, with just a few matching ribbons and peel-offs.
