Unforgotten Heroes Cuckoo Clock/treat Box
2014 sees the 100th Anniversary of the Great War, I wanted to design something to reflect that, which would make a wonderful keepsake but also perhaps help raise some money for the various charities who help our military service personnel and their families both past and present. Whilst not forgetting all those who fell in both World Wars and indeed any conflict up to present day. Whilst this is to mark the centenary of the Great War, it can be used and made each year.
Designed to look like a cuckoo clock, you get a choice between 2 clock faces, of different designs, you can make it into a working clock if desired, or just have it as a faux clock decoration/luxury gift box, a little treats can be inserted round the back of the clock.
You get everything to make this beautiful decoration, including the stag head, and bird, as well as all the embellishments.
This particular kit also includes a backing paper and card front with embellishments, which again can be used to commemorate and raise some funds for charity or just to say thinking of you.
I am sure any war history enthusiast would also appreciate this unusual keepsake.
Comprehensive instructions with photo step by steps are included.

Wow Janice!
This project certainly meant a lot to me. I plan on using this cuckoo clock as the centre piece for our unforgotten family that have served in the world wars. As usual your designs bring out the creative side of me. I changed up the weights at the bottom, using two heart beads and a beaded cross. I had tiny six petal red flowers & added a dot of black pearl drops to resemble the poppy. Also added snow as at that time of the year there certainly was snow on the ground here at home. This is not a project that can be rushed. Take your time and read the instructions provided.
Thank you for this very memorable design.
