The Love of a Mother

This design has a book topper with a wonderful poem articulating the womder that is the love of a Mother.
The book is topped with flowers and a sentiment panel for which there are considerable decoupage layers.
Perfect in pinks and pastel tones.

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
I added the greeting using thin foam tape. I added some pink pearls to the centre of the small flowers. I printed the bag onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded the bag as expected and assembled using strong double sided tape.
I tied a ribbon from my craft box to the handle to complete this gorgeous card and gift.
Printed onto glossy photo paper. Attached base image to card stock using ds tape. Built up image with 1mm foam pads. Added gems to flowers. A truly beautiful card any mother would be delighted to receive.
