3D Japanese Lantern 2 Embellishment and Card Front
This new design features a card front and the elements to make a 3D embellishment. The elements all fold in half and are glued together.
When opened out flat, you have a gorgeous embellishment, (much like the old fashioned Christmas decorations I used to have as a child), to place on your card.
These are really easy to make, but the result is wonderful. If you are making these to send out to friends and family, you will need a concertina type envelope or a box, so as not to flatten your embellishment.
Check out the tutorial to see how they are made.

The main topper was layered on to silver mirri, then red card and attached to a white 10" x 7" card.
The lantern layers were folded, scored and stuck together, then attached to the card.
A sticky red ribbon was added along the lower edge and three little embellishments were added. A gloss gel pen was used on the wording and a glittery gel pen was used to edge all the flat areas on the topper.
