Cute Christmas Tree
Here is a lovely and easy pattern of a Christmas tree. You can decorate it with gems and peel-offs, add a few presents too :-)

Very easy Iris Fold pattern to follow. I outlined the tree (on inside front) of card and cut it out of the card stock. I then taped pattern face down to front of card with pattern showing through the cut out to follow folds by number.
Working from the inside out I folded and taped the various patterned papers according to the numbers. Then I used the little green demo tree from pattern to cover the taped inside so it didn't show. I used gold glitter glue around tree and flourishes and black brads were inserted.
I then embellished with metallic stars and little "presents " made with assorted sequins, placed gold bow to front of tree and lastly placed the heart sticker into the last iris fold made on the tree.
I used directions on the website here from CUP on how to make iris fold cards as this was my first try at it.
I gave this to my hubby and he loved it. Since I still have the pattern I'll start next years xmas cards!
A fun way to use scraps! It's like organized serendipity! If you've never done this before this one is a good start and it will open the door to yet another form of card making fun.
