Christmas Bauble Iris Folding Pattern
An intricate iris folding pattern of a decorative Christmas bauble.

I diecut some white cardstock, then embossed it, taped a copy of the pattern to it and cut the ornament shape out with a craft knife.
Turned it upside down and taped in place over the pattern and used metallic papers (florist paper) to do the iris folding, folding two edges of my paper pieces for the triangle elements and just one edge for everything else.
I taped everything firmly in place with regular cello tape (on the back of the iris folding).
I attached a backing paper from Carol Lepard's cup373396_11 to a mint green card, then used DST to layer a dark green diecut panel and the iris folded panel, added diecut corners, an Anna Babajanyan sentiment, and some rhinetones.
This is a beautiful folding pattern with endless color possibilities.
