I cut the template out of a pale blue textured card I used a gold shimmer paper to do the iris folding and plain cardstock for the feet, beak and branch.
This design could be used for a variety of occasions and it was an easy iris fold to complete

I printed a rainforest background and then completed the toucan using the iris folding method of card making. I gave him some character with a little googly eye - lovely!

I enlarged the template then I used yellow for the tuft, I used ordinary white copy paper for the bird and light blue backing paper I then framed the picture with a black frame.
