Cow Iris Folding Pattern

I printed one of the backgrounds off sheet cup8717 onto the front of some Super Smooth white card and this iris folding pattern onto the back. I cut out the aperature and put the cutout down on my working surface using temporary adhesive with the aperature on top so that I could see it. I worked the whole pattern in dark brown strips of iris folding paper. I then turned the image over, trimmed to the correct size for my card (an A5 one made of cream Silk Art card), and put on some white splodges as markings on the cow. I used strong double sided tape to attach the image to the card front and finished the card off by sticking some fine, black with gold border, peel-offs around the edge of the image.

You can make the iris folded cow up in whatever colour you want, be it a natural colour, perhaps to match a breed the recipient keeps, or even a multicoloured, fun, cow as a child's card.
