I printed a background of green with daisies onto super smooth white card and then turned it over and printed the sheet onto the other side.
I also printed the sheet onto cheap copier paper.
I cut the butterfly apperature out of the green by following the image on the reverse and then put the card face down onto the other sheet.
I chose various colours of irridescent iris folding strips of paper and made up the butterfly following the pattern. I trimmed the green card into a square and stuck this to an 8" square base card that was irridescent and had a hint of a tint of colour.
I cut the butterfly body from the second copy and placed it over the body and trimmed it with black peeloffs that had a small gold edge.
I used wavy, dark green, border peloffs to highlight the edge of the butterfly wings and then used gold peeloffs around the base card to finish.
